We want the pub to showcase our love of beer, sports, and the arts — bringing you the best local food, drinks and talent!
Sitting on the edge of Clifton Village, The Lansdown is a refreshingly traditional British pub, which is part of the local community. The pub is a stunning grade II listed building with a large sunny beer garden, outdoor projector and upstairs bar available for private hire.
Due to New Year’s Day falling on the first Monday of the month, we will be closed Monday 8th January instead.

Your home of the Guinness Six Nations. Also showing the Rugby World Cup, Premiership Rugby, European Champions & Challenge Cup and every international as well as plenty more sport!

We have a large beer garden and a function room available for private or in house events throughout the year, including live music, screen filmings and tasting events.

Absolutely! Warning: four-legged friends will be spoilt unless advised otherwise.

Booking is not essential but always recommended! It helps us to manage stock and staff so we have everything you need for your visit. Plus, you’ll probably get the best seats in the house!

Ah, this is where it gets difficult. Major sporting events (FIFA World Cup, 6 Nations, Rugby World Cup, Football Cup Finals) are non-reservable so we advise getting down early if you want a seat!

Yes! We do not charge for any of our garden gigs. There are occasionally privately organised events upstairs which will charge a fee but we’ll make sure you know which these are!
